Hook: "Does this safari guarantee I come back alive?"
Intro:
Theises: In the Sound of Thunder the author uses inference very effectively.
1Example: the sound of the wood infurence to the dinosaoruses.
2Example: the dinosaour goes through the woods an the noise which infers to the sound of thunder.

Paragraph:

There was a sound of thunder.
Inference is when the act or process of reaching a conclusion about something from known facts or evidence. The author uses inference effecrively in the story.
When they heared the big noises from the woods it inferenced them that there were dinosaurs. When the dinosaur goes though the woods and it makes a loud noise, this infers to the sound of thunder. The noise that they hear the roar it infers them that it's the dinosaurs. The noise of the gun it infers us thet Travis shot Eckels. All of these inferences are connected whats gonna happen at the and of the sound of thunder. The sound of thunder uses inferences to help the reader think what1s gonna happen next and it makes it more interesting.

"We guarantee nothing"
Forshadowing is when you hint what's going to happen in the story and also at the end.
The Sound of Thunder uses forshadowing to make it more interesting and make the reader to feel read more.
For example in the start the writer wrote down
"TIME SAFARI, INC.
SAFARIS TO ANY YEAR IN THE PAST.
YOU NAME THE ANIMAL.
WE TAKE YOU THERE.
YOU SHOOT IT."
this for using forshadowing to hint whats gonna happen.
In the title "Sound of Thunder" it is also a forshadowing because this gonna happen at the end.
